• Hi. We programmed a plugin for contests and it has been so succesfull that we increased our users online at the same time from 20 to 400. The ISP closed us the account for index.php overload out of memory.
Can this been an issue of bad coding on plugin or only for the increment of traffic?
I can send the code to anybody if can help us. We are right now in a great trouble…
the site is: https://www.mmogamer.es and is still down right now…
    Thanks!

  • Juan, shared hosting companies usually have limits on the amount of traffic a website can have to stop the site from overpowering their servers.

Two options … either move to a more powerful hosting company or minimize the amount of CPU WordPress needs. I have a post at https://thisismyurl.com/2427/why-is-wordpress-slow-on-bluehost/ that will walk you though how to make WordPress use less power.

Thanks Christopherross. Now, we have increased page speed with compression, expiration, reducing redundance code and so on. We have right now an 84% on google page speed. But we still have one red point on Minimize request size… Is the only way to take away plugins?

    Thanks for your time
