The ad details couldn’t be retrieved from the ad code

    Hi,

    I’m trying to setup Google AdSense on a website.

    I have followed all the steps on wpadvancedads.com but getting this error, (The ad details couldn’t be retrieved from the ad code) when trying to add a AdSense in the Ads tap in the plugin.

    We are currently using Advanced Ads Pro version 2.2

    This warning is related to the basic version Advanced Ads as hosted here and might interest other users too, so I will reply here as well. If you have a question related to Advanced Ads Pro or prefer direct email support then please reach out through email here.

    The error you are seeing probably means that the code you added is probably not for a single AdSense ad. Is it possible that you tried to use the “Auto ads” ad code? The code belongs to Auto ads when it contains enable_page_level_ads?

    Not for this particular problem. This one is only related to the free plugin. But since it is not always obvious if a problem or question is related to the basic plugin or an add-on and you have access to premium email support with your purchase, it is better to reach out there. This forum is for questions and problems related to the basic plugin only.
