Backup it created didn't work as advertised when I tried to restore my site!!

  • Well, I was told this plugin was great but it really SUCKS.

    After installing the plugin I created a backup of my site and db. Lo and behold a couple weeks later I needed to restore my site. Guess what? The backup for the database would NOT WORK! I Kept getting database errors when I tried to restore the db from the backup. I was able to restore my site files, but not the database. All page content and post content would not show up on my site. Looks like you CAN’T count on this plug-in to work when you need it. I went to the plugin site for help and their “help search engine” has no useful info. The plugin’s site is worthless when it comes to help.

    Out of all the people giving this plugin a good rating, I wonder how many have actually tried restoring their site with one of the plugin’s backups? This plugin SUCKS!! Beware, if you need to restore your site database you can’t count on the backup to work.

    Sorry you ran into issues restoring, I’d love to know what errors you got when trying to restore the database, could you possibly send a copy of the database export that wasn’t working and I’ll take a look.
