The backup is being aborted for a repeated failure to progress.

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

In Settings>>show expert settings >split archives every- can you change the value from the default of 400 to 100

Can you add the following to your wp-config.php

define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

Thank you for the suggestions. I applied both of them and unfortunately the backup failed again. So, here’s a new log file.

Can you check how much space you have available on your hosting account?

The hosting plan in use is supposed to come with 50GB of storage space, of which 9.64?GB is in use. So, there should be a bit over 40GB available.

Can you try doing two things for me

1. Run a backup to dropbox without the uploads
2. run a full backup but don’t send it to dropbox

Can you send me the logs for these backups?

Thank you. For some unknown reason, the last scheduled backup, which was yesterday, ran and completed successfully. I don’t know why because I did not change any settings, but maybe the hosting company tweaked something in their system. So for now I think we can consider this resolved. Thank you for your assistance.
