• I’ve tried the free versions of other cache plugins which were okay to a certain extent – they were the free versions after all – but this outstrips them all.

I’ve just updated my VPS to become a full LiteSpeed server so this plugin was installed automatically on my WordPress sites. The ‘out of the box’ settings were adequate producing acceptable improvements in PageSpeed and YSlow scores over the free offerings. However, each site has now had the images optimised using the included LiteSpeed server based Image Optimisation (which is free to use for servers using LiteSpeed) and care has been taken to tweak each sites HTML, CSS and JavaScript optimisations (some (HTTP2 push for example) are better left off with some sites whereas others this works fine so may need a little more experimentation). Now my scores on all sites are brilliant and I can notice the difference when opening the sites in my browsers even though I’m not using a CDN.
