• We wanted to do 3 things:
    1. Schedule a post on a specific date and time.
    2. Un-schedule the same post on a specific date and time
    3. Re-run missed scheduled posts in the cron (cause we all know that WP cron can fail sometimes)

We’ve really looked at all the plugins out there that can schedule and un-schedule posts, but did not really find anything that matched our criteria.

SchedulePress to the rescue! The free version can do everything one would ever need for standard scheduling. We upgraded to pro for a small fee so that we have the missed scheduler and some advanced features as well.

We faced a challenge with the initial install of the free plugin not being compatible with another plugin we had installed, but support was helpful and responsive and they fixed the issue in a reasonable amount of time. That’s actually very hard to find these days!!!!

Cannot recommend this enough, it really does what it says and more!!
