    Most effective and simple method for spam comments customizable security questions

    I have not seen a spam bot solving interesting questions.

    Why do we have to use plugins and external systems that are complex and use more system resources?

    Add security question to wordpress core (comments, login, register) or wordpress team could write plugin it would be great.

    Thank you for posing this question.

    I can clearly see the need for customizable security questions and would suggest searching for similar requests on https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/
    or opening an official feature request there with the type “enhancement”.

    As for use of plugins to add this kind of feature, WordPress is implementing the most useful and wanted functions to its core, but also minding not to implement something that is not as important for most, or that will make it more bloated.
