The best themes for either beginners and advanced users
-
I’m a paying customer of MyThemeShop and these guys do a clean job. I’m very pedantic when it comes to WordPress themes but they tick all the boxes.
1. SEO – their themes are coded the right way and the page elements such us H1 and h2 title tags are as the search engines recommend. There is only one H1 tag per page and custom h2, h3, h4, etc title tags.
2. The right amount of widgets and out of the box widgets for ads, recent posts, tabs, Facebook, twitter, etc. It’s extremely easy for anyone to set up a blog in a matter of minutes (if your blog has already content).
3. Theme options are easy to understand and it’s easy to set up the theme to your liking in a matter of minutes.
4. Typography – gorgeous. You can customize almost everything with Google fonts right in the theme options (most of the 2013 themes have got this option).
5. Front page slider – few clicks and you enable the responsive slider on the homepage
6. Related posts with thumbnails. You can switch these ON/OFF.
7. Responsive themes.
