Looks pretty nice. Good work. Good use of contrast, imagery and color…

Horrible webdesign.

– music starts playing when you visit site
– my mousepointer is some dudes face
– righ-clicking disabled
– links aren’t highlighted whne mouseover
– the header image is out of proportion
– the menu links are to small
– almost no content (all big images and youtube vids)
– to much animated gifs
– distracting background
– …

Was that really necessary? The OP asked for feedback by posting here and that often comes in 2 flavours: good or bad. If you can’t take that, don’t ask for feedback.

FWIW, the first three of billgoldberg’s comments persuaded me not to even visit the site. Music? Fancy mouse cursors? Disabled right click? What is this? Geocities?

The Theme song is a new daily tradition, and it has a PAUSE Button and its at the very top of the page.

Mouse Cursor, cuz its a Justin Bieber Fansite. I get nothing but positive reviews about the Cursor.

Right click, I have some competitors that steal my articles. I know you cant FULLY Stop someone from stealing content but I atleast try.

I didnt do the web design. I picked the free them through wordpress.

Take it up with wordpress for that department.

And yes its a FANSITE, Big pictures, updates, and my Gifs are to help me separate myself from other JB Fansites.

Im trying to find the sites own Style and Uniqueness and its own stand alone independency.

Its really not aimed towards adult, nor is it meant to be professional. Its made for Teenagers. The Sites tagline is: Made By A Belieber For A Belieber.

Made by a teenager, for teenagers.

I think if you’re not a fan of Bieber, you’ll find yourself in agreement with what @billgoldberg said. But, I also think fans will love all that stuff and think some of it is cool.

Thieves are going to steal your content no matter what you do. But by trying to stop it, you limit the fans from copying images for their personal use such as desktops and screensavers, etc.

I’m not a fan but I kind of like the site.

Fansites are fuelled with crazy fanatics and the crazier the fansite, the better. You don’t build a minimalist Bieber shrine, you build the most attention-grabbing stuff.

Re webdesign stuff, he designed it for an audience, the Bieber audience and that is executed quite well.

As for my 2cents, you need to polish your Facebook like things on the sidebar. That top border is the first thing I saw. Also, it is kind of hard to distinguish where the post ends and a new post begins; your text size on some are a bit chaotic. Maybe have your images on the sidebar the same dimensions to polish it more.

One last, “Hello Manila!” I kid. Keep it up!
