The button to update the product feed does not work.

When I click it it starts updating and starts scrolling “%” but when it finishes it doesn’t notice the latest changes.

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Can you share the plugin debug.log URL with us so we can have a look if your feed is updating or not? This is where you can find the debug.log URL: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

Thanks for sharing the debug.log URL with us.

According to the debug.log all of your feeds have been updated at least once today and some have been updated multiple times today, probably the ones you refreshed manually. So it seems like the plugin does update fine.

Are you perhaps using a caching plugin or doing some server-side (hosting) caching? If so, you might be looking at an old cached version of your feed. Make sure to clear all caching when checking your feed(s).

Yes, when the feed updates itself (Cron job) it is fine, but when you press the update button it does not update. I use WProcket for caching I tried to clear the cache but nothing works.
The other thing is – the cache is turned off for the admin part

I noticed this problem after one of the latest updates

We still believe this is being caused by caching/WP-rocket. When you search this forum you will find a few post of users who experienced exactly the same.

Ok, how can I fix this thing?

We don’t know, most likely it is still caching/WP Rocket that is causing this to happen. We are sure that when you disable your WP Rocket the manual updating will work fine. Perhaps you can reach out to their support on what setting needs to be changed in their plugin?

I stopped WProcket but the problem persists. Please note that I have been using WProcket for 2 years and the update issue appeared 2 weeks ago.

According to the debug.log all of your feeds have been updated at least once today and some have been updated multiple times today, probably the ones you refreshed manually. So it seems like the plugin does update fine.

A lot of your feeds show multiple update times a day, also shortly after each other which implies those updates where done manually. Are you sure they are not being updated or are you perhaps looking at an old cached version of the feed?

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our help is no longer required we will close this topic. Do not hesitate to reach out to us again whenever you need our support.
