    Hi commonsense23,

You should find this warning also in your AdSense account with a link to the possible solutions. The simplest solution is to enable the “Restrict data processing” option to let AdSense take care of this. Implementing a custom solution would mean to gather individual consent from Californian visitors which is, in my experience, not very effective.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

The warning does appear in AdSense, but I don’t see a link to possible solutions or a “restrict data processing” option to enable.

    Thanks.

In your AdSense account, please go to Blocking controls > Content > All Sites and then find the “California Consumer Privacy Act” field with a link to manage the CCPA settings.

    Got it, thanks!

I have set the Restrict data processing on my google adsense account. However, the adsense warning still appears on my website advanced Ads settings? Do I just ignore it or do I just click on the dismiss it link?
Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

    Hi Paul,

you can just dismiss it. We only update the warnings from time to time because there is a limit on how often we can do this. So it is normal that they might be outdated.

    Best regards,
    Thomas
