    I have just discovered that my contact forms are not working.
    when user clicks submit, this shows up at the bottom.

    Yes my recpatcha is setup and the site keys are correct. I have tried both v2 and v3, same issue.

    I don’t know when it stopped working.
    the devtools console does not show any errors.

    Hello @lordsnake,

    If you are using reCAPTCHA on your site and you see the “The captcha is missing from this form error message”, this usually means that there is a?Javascript error?on your page or that the wp_footer hook is missing from your theme.

    There is no javascript error, thus why I explicitly stated “the devtools console does not show any errors.”

    Recaptcha has been working fine on my site for many years, with the same theme and also works with other plugins.
    I have switched to another form plugin and recaptcha is working fine now, so its just formidable forms having the problem.

    I had the same issue using invisible captcha. It was random that the error would happen. We have wp-rockit installed and the option for “Load Javascript Deferred” was the culprit. For now unchecking that option resolves the issue. Hopefully that can help debug support issues in the future ?? Have a great Sunday!
