The category link in an FAQ is broken

Hi maven,

Our plugin is designed for the Category and Tag links that appear within FAQs to indeed link to those custom URLs you mentioned. Those are designed to display all FAQs from that category, but using our shortcode, so it retains all of the formatting and functionality of our plugin. The taxonomy archive pages would not make use of our plugin’s formatting/styling/functionality, so the posts just display as a list generated by your theme. If you would prefer to link to those pages, anyway, you can do so manually on your page or within your FAQs.

That’s what I’m saying – the link it goes to is: https://domain.com/faq/faq-post-slug/?faq-category=faq-category-slug. That just reloads the current page. Please explain what needs to be done to link to a page that has the category listings page instead: https://domain.com/ufaq-category/faq-category-slug/.

As it sits, the plugin does NOT redirect to that https://domain.com/ufaq-category/faq-category-slug/, but instead, clicking on the category link goes to https://domain.com/faq/faq-post-slug/?faq-category=faq-category-slug. What exactly do I need in place to make the handler for ?faq-category=faq-category-slug go to https://domain.com/ufaq-category/faq-category-slug/

I already explained it. The taxonomy archive pages do not make use of our plugin’s formatting/styling/functionality, so the posts just display as a list generated by your theme. Our custom URL makes it so only FAQs from that category or tag display and so they use the formatting/styling/functionality of our FAQs/plugin. The plugin is NOT supposed to redirect to the taxonomy archive page, for the aforementioned reasons.
