The chat plugin stopped working

    Today I could see that deactivating the plugin and activating it does not allow me to connect as a user and throws that error:
    Cannot parse API response JSON. Error: Syntax error

    there was an issue with the plugin, luckily we have managed to fix it, so everything should be working again.
