For my items, the plugin says that “The condition of the item is missing. The column is optional but we encourage users to specify the value in new, used or refurbished.”

I have gone into the items and made sure that under the Pinterest tab, the Condition is specified (and not Default). Some are variable products and I have ensured that each variation has the Condition set to New on the Pinterest tab. Is there somewhere else that the Condition must be specified?

    Hey @gamethrall

    Hope you are doing well!

Should be ok with that, and then wait at least 24hs so the feed is synched.

I have waited over a week and still have the same number of warnings and errors as before, despite adding the condition to numerous products. The same product is at the top of the warnings list. I can provide a screenshot or something if that helps.

    Hey @gamethrall ,

    Hope you are doing well!

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Go to Settings tab on “Marketing > Pinterest”
    2. Disable “Enable product sync”
    3. Enable “Erase Plugin Data” and Save
    4. Go to Connection tab on ?”Marketing > Pinterest”
    5. Disconnect your accoun by clicking on “Disconnect”
    6. Deactivate and uninstall “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
    — At this point no feed should be present on /wp-content/uploads, no settings on the table wp-options, no Scheduled Action related to Pinterest and no feed registered on Pinterest —
    7. Install again “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
    8. Restart the Pinterest onboarding
    9. Wait 24hs until Pinterest approve the catalog

Let us know if that helps.

    Best,
    Christian

    Hey there,

Since we haven’t heard back from the OP in a while, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Please add an option to set it by default

I try to add condition per product, but under the pinterest tab, I can only specify the google category, not the condition.

Actually I would want all my products to be new by default, how can I do that?

@ireenamsterdam for variable products the Condition field is within each variation not at the main product level. It took me a minute to find it too!

@ataub2qf was kind enough to post SQL code to quickly set all simple and variable product conditions here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/way-to-set-default-product-condition/

However I’m leaning towards doing a products export CSV with product and variation IDs then adding the meta columns _wc_pinterest_condition to the spreadsheet file with value “new”, saving as CSV and uploading it under Products > Import checking “Update existing products” option. That seems a bit less risky but will take longer to run. CSV files with variations can be tricky to follow. I recommend simple files with just one or two columns of data being updated at a time.
