• Under Current Theme Options, I have entered a html form in the field for the side bar content, I have checked “show the content” and my form shows on the side bar on actual site, and works fine. I went to admin again to update it in the Current Theme Options and my send button is now outside of the box and looks a a part of this admin page. It is gone from the code I have entered earlier. When I empty the content box and press save, it does not do anything. I have logged off and logged in back to the account thinking it was a glitch but nothing worked. Is there a reset button or any reset function so I can revert the Theme Option to its defaults? I do not want to reinstall css files as I have made advanced changes in the css files.

If some one can point me in a right direction I will be grateful.

  • Hi Matyas,

If your sidebar is widget-enabled, why not just add your form as a widget?

You just have to go to your WP admin panel ==> Appearance ==> Widgets, look for a Widget called “Text” (with the description “Arbitrary text or HTML”) inside the “Available Widgets” window (to the left of the screen), and drag and drop it in the “Sidebar” window (to the left).
In that window, add the title of your choice, paste the form code in the main text field, and click “Save”.

Your form should now be displaying inside your sidebar.
Let me know if that worked.

    Good luck.

    Hi Matyas,

I sure hope you were able to solve the issue. I have a very similar issue and my deadline is coming up quick.

The save button on the theme options page does not work! I can make any changes I want to but when I click on save, nothing happens. Very much like what you are describing.

Were you able to reset it or get it to work? I have looked through all the code to see if I can change the parameters manually but I can’t figure it. out.

Does anyone from their support checks this page?

so frustrated right now. Spent over 10 hours on this issue yesterday ??

    Any help is appreciated.

    Jamak

    Hi Jamak,

Where you able to solve your issue? If not, I can try to give you a hand.

My first guess is that you could probably do all these changes manually (editing the core files yourself with Notepad, Front Page, Dreamweaver or the software of your choice) and then upload via FTP to your site.

However, to give you a more accurate answer I would need to know what your theme is and what is exactly that you are trying to accomplish. If you give me this information I’ll be able to help you more efficiently.

    Good luck!
