    Hi, The cookie scanner does not find any cookies, even if I repeat the scan several times. Even after that, Analytics cookies are not found either. This is something that is happening to me on more and more websites.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ricardorvm,

    Please check if you might have any ad-blocking extensions activated that prevent the Cookie Scan from being able to run in your browser. An easy test would be to run the scan in an Incognito window instead, to prevent active browser extensions from affecting the behavior.

    In addition, could you run a new cookie scan in the browser where you experience this behavior; then open the DevTools Inspector, navigate to the Console tab, and share a screenshot of any errors that it reports? That would point us towards the most-likely cause.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hello @ricardorvm,

    Have you tried this in an Incognito/Private Browsing window as per my suggestion?

    Your video unfortunately doesn’t show the “Console” tab in DevTools, which is where the errors/warnings will be reported. Could you take a screenshot of what appears in the console tab when you run a Cookie Scan?

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    I don’t see any errors in the console. I do see that three cookies are listed, which one are those? (might help in understanding the issue).

    Do you have any extensions in the browser which might interfere? Can you also try a different browser to see if that makes a difference? It might even be a specific setting in safari. I just checked with safari, with default settings, this works without issues.

    The three cookies it finds are:

    rc::c
    rc::b
    rc::a

    Through Complianz I then use Analytics, and I don’t have any browser extensions that could interfere. I have 30 other websites with Complianz, and they all work fine and the scanner works with the same browser, which is Chrome. And I have tried scanning cookies in other browsers and the same thing happens.

    Can you also try with all plugins deactivated? It sounds as if there is something specific to this website, so I think it must be a plugin.

    If I know which plugin, I can debug with it.

    @ricardorvm did you perhaps install one of the beta branches on this site?

    In that case installing again from the repo might help. The production zip does not seem to have any issues, but a beta branch can sometimes contain an issue.

    As the issue seems to be caused by a server/website specific issue which can’t be reproduced by us, I’m marking this as closed. If you have further information let me know and we will investigate.
