• For some reason, in the Dashboard – The right column of the widget area has vanished.

    see screen grab: https://www.cookeatblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Screen-Shot-2012-06-29-at-2.21.14-PM.png

I can no longer see the areas of my theme where I can add widgets. This has been working for many years but I’m unsure when it stopped working – I only recently tried to update the sidebar and found the issue.

I have already tried the following:
    deactivating and re-activating all plugins
    re-installing latest version of WordPress
    re-installing the theme
manually reinstalling the wp-admin and wp-includes folders

None of these have made any difference.

I CAN manually add items to the widget areas by enabling “accessibility mode”, but I can’t delete or edit any of the widgets as they don’t appear anywhere. This offers no solution to the problem really.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Anyone help!?

    Thanks ??
