The de facto SEO Plugin for WordPress

  • Yoast are a well respected company and the SEO Plugin is a staple of WordPress users throughout the world whether you are technical, non-technical, a full-time SEO professional or simply running a hobbyist website.

    The only thing which holds me back from giving it five stars is the following:

    a) the invasive nature of adverts
    b) the way it doesn’t natively blend into the WordPress back-end
    c) The holding back of some functionality for the premium version e.g. redirects

    Overall the stuff I nitpicked doesn’t stop it from being a tremendously useful plugin, they are a business at the end of the day and don’t necessarily owe the average WordPress user anything ??
