• Will WordPress introduce advanced editing features for web designing like other page builders like Elementor? However, WP is introducing more features but will it be able to compete with page builders in the market? Using page builders increases cost with the impact of speed.

Creating a landing page for my site need some extra efforts with coding with gutenberg. witn pagebuilder it make the site heavy compared to gutenberg edits.

    Cheers,

    Hitesh.

What specific “landing page” feature are you trying to create with the built-in site editor that you’re unable to? I create landing pages for clients all the time using nothing but the built-in block editor, without writing a line of code or using any 3rd-party page builder plugin.

I see your site uses Suki, which is a classic theme. To take full advantage of the block editor, including designing the entire site, core theme templates, and even custom page templates for your landing pages (which may require removing elements like the header, footer, sidebar, etc)… you need to use a full-site editing aka block theme: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/tags/full-site-editing/

Classic themes, due to their technical design, will always require a third-party page builder plugin to create custom templates beyond what the theme came with. This is precisely the problem the block editor (aka Gutenberg) was designed to solve… but you need a block-enabled theme to take full advantage of the editor’s capabilities.

The Block Editor https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/wordpress-block-editor/ and Site Editor https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/site-editor/ were introduced specifically to address WordPress’s need for a page builder experience.

However, to use the Site Editor, you need a Block Theme, as George mentioned above.
