Hi, Gmail doesn’t allow you to change the from email for security reasons. The plugin does override it but Gmail just ignores it when it hits their SMTP server.

So there is no fix for this? The whole reason I was using the plugin was to have the from email to be [email protected]

@oaepauli, No plugin will be able to fix this issue unless Gmail allows it.

Is this exclusively a Gmail problem? What if I tried Yahoo or some other free email service (not ideal, but if that works then so be it).

There is a solution. You must go to your account settings in gmail> accounts and import> Send email as:> Add another email address

Follow the procedures to add [email protected]

Once added, will work [email protected] defined in “From Email Address” in the plugin’s settings.

Still struggling with adding [email protected]. Info@ is actually a Distribution Group alias hence no actual login username and password. Any other ways to change FROM email to [email protected]? Thanks.
