• Is WordPress still an open-source community driven project?

First Gutenberg, destroyed the back-end editor experience, now the Woocommerce PayPal payment gateway, destroys the front-end shopping experience. Why you guys taking things away from us without asking the community?

We need the default editor back.
We need the standard PayPal payment gateway back.

You can still develop new stuff and give users a choice.

That’s what open-source community driven project means.

Or, WordPress is a complete commercial profit-driven CMS now?

    Did I miss something?

I’ve archived the replies, this is a review section not a “Which CMS should I move to” section. It’s also not a blog post.

Thanks for the review. I’m closing this as it’s moved to “blog post” territory and that’s not appropriate for this support forum.

If you want support for anything WordPress or want to help other people in the community with WordPress, please do so. This whole review section for Gutenberg does have some good feedback, both negative and positive.

But unhappy people are brigading here to use the reviews to vent in the form of a blog post and that’s not appropriate for a support forum.

If you wish to blog please do so. Just not on this site.
