• Hi all, and hopefully Fabian

This is a great plugin, no doubt. I bought the pro version, and would have been happy to pay an annual license fee, if that would result in some kind of support.

Whether you are using the free version or pro version, it is important to know whether this plugin will be supported in the future, before implementing this on your website.

The las activity from fabian on this forum was in November 2013.

It would be great if we can:
1.) Get feedback from Fabian, if anybody know how to contact him.
2.) If he is not planning to support this, find someone to take it over.
3.) Get a list of alternatives, and feedback on the best.

    Regards
    Schalk

  • Hi,

Forget it, there is no Feedback, and the plugin slowly stops working. Last week I bought the Pro Version to test it out, and quickly I noticed, that search results are not linked to the documents…

Don’t try “Document Reviews”: no support since last year July. The plugin encrypts the documents and lost the connections to the documents within the last 2 months.

At the moment I’m testing Media Library Assistant for a bit of document management: Incredibly great support, good funcionalities, great documentation, but no access restrictions (as far I’ve seen):

    Good luck

Ok, sorry, that was stupid, “Search Integration” is the first option of WP Filebase on the settings page: “Searches in attached files and lists the associated posts and pages when searching the site.” Activate and it works…

    Pro version updated yesterday

    It’s still alive!!!!
