When the Event Calendar is first loaded on the website, it correctly displays the desktop version. However, after interacting with the calendar, such as clicking on an event or performing a search, the calendar switches to the mobile version UI, even on desktop devices.

I kindly request your support in resolving this issue. I believe there might be a conflict between the Event Calendar plugin and the Divi theme, causing the mobile version to override the desktop version unexpectedly. Based on your website, it is stated that the Divi theme is compatible with the plugin. However, I am still encountering this problem. I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the code or use another plugin to prevent this issue from occurring

    Hi @yewaung

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

Please avoid sharing your system information in this forum, this is to follow the WordPress guidelines described here.

As for the issue, if you have server-side caching, please consider deactivating it temporarily and check if that makes a difference.

If that doesn’t help, please try unchecking the Block editor option from Events > Settings > General, and see if that resolves the issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your response and suggestions.

I have followed your advice and checked the server-side caching, but it has been deactivated since last month, so that doesn’t appear to be the cause of the issue.

Additionally, I tried unchecking the Block editor option as you mentioned in Events > Settings > General, but unfortunately, the issue persists, and the Event Calendar view still switches to the mobile version on desktop devices.

I did some research and found a similar case on your support forum (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/responsive-breakpoint-filter-not-working/). While the theme used in that case is different, the symptoms seem to match the problem I’m experiencing.

Since our website is built entirely using the Divi theme, switching to a different theme is not a viable solution for us. I’m wondering if you have any specific solutions or suggestions tailored to the Divi theme to address this responsive breakpoint issue.

    Hi @yewaung

Since you are using Divi, I would suggest trying this extension: https://www.peeayecreative.com/product/divi-events-calendar/

I am not sure if that will solve your issue or not, but it does add responsivene to The Events Calendar in Divi, so it very well might help.

    Hi @yewaung

I’m curious, does the issue persists if you activate only our plugins and Divi theme? [see Testing Conflicts]. As always, please test this first on a staging version of your live site to avoid unnecessary downtime.

Let me know how it goes.
