I am having issues with The Events Calendar plugin. I am not sure exactly when this started, but I noticed, I believe, in July or August 2022. Ever since then, I have been unable to add an Event – when I try to do so, all I get is a blank page.

I have deactivated all plugins on my site and reactivated them one by one… the only plugin having an issue with The Events Calendar is the PublishPress BlocksI just read on this forum and on The Events Calendar forum about someone having a conflict between these two plugins almost 10 months ago… but the solution does not seem to apply anymore.

The PublishPress Blocks Gutenberg Editor Plugin thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/toggle-block-inserter-causes-unexpected-error/

    The Events Calendar thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/does-the-events-calendar-unregister-core-legacy-widget/

There has been some updates for both plugin since, but I find myself having the same problem with recent versions. I am not sure if it is the same issue as in the threads mentioned above.

I have deactivated all plugins on my site and reactivated them one by one… the only plugin having an issue with The Events Calendar is the PublishPress Blocks

    I am current using
    WordPress version 6.1
    PHP version 7.4.30
    PublishPress Blocks version 3.1.0
    The Events Calendar version 6.0.3

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated

Hi @mdomingue, apologies for the delay here, I’m back now. We just released The Events Calendar 6.0.4. We fixed quite a few errors in this release, and it may have solved this issue with PublishPress Blocks as well — we had a related issue with the Divi Builder. Please update and let us know if you’re still seeing the issue. If so, we’ll prioritize it for an upcoming release.

To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

Also, please clear any caching for both third-party plugins and server-side (if you have any). It would also be good to flush permalinks.

    Best,
    Abz
