I guess you guy’s aren’t interested in the upsell? Wanted to get the front end submission addon, but not if there is no support.

This is the only plugin I have that gives me these formatting problems.

Widget spacing changes depending on what page user is on. Why? How can I fix this? On “pages” it displays properly. On “posts” it displays with odd spacing, on “home page feed” or searches it has massive spacing between events.

Also, Month view page is not contained even when changing max-width css.

Would like to get front end addon going. Please help.

    Howdy infotami,

Apologies for a bit of a delay in the response. This is unfortunately the worse time of year to post, as it coincides with our annual team retreat in which the entire team goes away for a spell. We probably should have put up messaging to that effect here, my apologies again.

Our goal in this forum is truly to happily support all users of our plugin, regardless of whether they plan to purchase or not. But, we do have some strict rules in place that I hope you can understand. We do not help with theme customizations of any sorts, including integrations. What you will need is an expert in CSS to investigate your site and write some code to patch the problem and make the theme compatible. If you’ve purchased the theme, sometimes the theme author is willing. If not, sometimes folks even community members here will give you the code. But, again Modern Tribe does not do this write code for you. But, sometimes someone form the community here will volunteer their time to do all that work for you and write the code and everything.

The problem you have described is not super unique. It happens to all WordPress plugins (not just TEC) and to a variety of themes. Simply put, there are tens of thousands of plugins and themes. And every single plugin can not be compatible with every single theme. So sometimes an expert in coding needs to integrate two that are not specifically compatible.

Hopefully that background information helps clear things up. And I will definitely leave this open for the community volunteers to help you. ??

    Cheers!

Hi Brook, Thanks for getting back! Sorry for the “testy” post. Wrote it in a bout of frustration. You guys always seem to be really positive so my apologies.

Anyway, it did force me to find another solution that has killed two birds with one stone (at least for me). In searching I found TEC Shortcodes (plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/) which has allowed me to customize a better solution. Now just need to get the front end option going at some point.

    Best Regards

    Brook

No worries there infotami. Software can be frustrating at times. I appreciate the update! I wish you the best with your solution. Cheers!
