The Events Calendar will not show up

    I have added Beaver Builder Pro to my website and added The Event Calendar plug in. When I try to see the calendar all I get is text like this:

    ? All Events ToyMakers Meeting January 6 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Event Navigation ? ToyMakers of East Lake Open House & Silent Auction ToyMakers Meeting Some text will be here + Google Calendar+ iCal Export Details Date: January 6 Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Event Navigation ? ToyMakers of East…

    I have used The Event Calendar plug-in before and it worked. I did test the plug-in with the twenty sixteen template and it worked, but when I changed it over to the Beaver Builder Pro template it does not work. I wanted to know if any one has had this problem before.

  • I have been building a site based on the Genesis framework and the plugin worked before Christmas, but since the latest update I am seeing the exact same display issue as you.

    Something broke and I don’t believe it is the theme or any of the other plugins (I deactivated them all).

    Hi @rshoem,

    It sounds like the issue may lie with Beaver Builder PRO. Can you confirm that our plugins works when this is deactivated?

    You may want to reach out to the Beaver Builder PRO developers to see if they have any suggestions for you over there.

    I would recommend also playing around with the different stylesheets and page templates to see if it will bring back your calendar layout.

    @jaimemarchwinski I just figured out the issue with Genesis. When changing the content archive setting (from Genesis settings) to entry excert, it outputs the following on the page instead of the calendar.

    I just changed the setting back to display entry content instead and it appears to be working again. This does limit the options available for websites with a blog.

    This could be unrelated to what @rshoem has reported, but then again…
