Well, I’m sorry but I don’t think it is correct from your side to decide which feature should be paid and which not in a product.
You can not go to a store and force the owner to give you something for free only because you think that a paid product should be free.
It already exists. All you have to do is allow it to work.
Actually you see only the top of the iceberg, but in reality it’s not like that. A lot of changes in the code should be made in order to add a compatibility layer with this plugin and most likely even from the plugin side.
Please take in mind that such an integration takes time and resources to be developed and maintained with future updates.
Don’t underestimate this work and effort because it is not so easy like you think!
If you don’t like that our header account element (from free version) is not supporting this plugin, you can simply remove the account element from the header and use the native WordPress login page and your site will be protected.
Also you can use the “Custom Link” option instead of “Modal” and link to the native login page – https://d.pr/v/t2uMDj
