    Hello,

When I try to create a new post (or page), I got the following error message : “The “yoast-seo” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.”

This happened after the 19.3 version update. So I downgraded to 19.2 but still had the same error. I put the 19.3 version back again.

Here are the errors I get on the Chrome Inspector :

TypeError: he.helpers.getLanguagesWithWordComplexity is not a function
        at a.value (externals-components.js:15:18785)
        at externals-components.js:28:758

        at unstable_runWithPriority (react.min.js:9:7431)
        at xn (react-dom.min.js:9:29950)

I tested a few things and I noticed that the error doesn’t show up if I deactivate the content analysis feature.

I deactivated the content analysis for now but if you find a solution for this, it would be great.

    Hi @echappee06

Thank you for contacting us and sorry to hear that you are facing an error “The “yoast-seo” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.” when creating a new page/post.

I tried to replicate the issue at my lab site with the latest version of Yoast SEO 19.3, but I was not able to replicate this on my end when creating a new post or page. So to help us troubleshoot this issue, please provide us with the following information:
    1) Can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress, theme, and all plugins?

    2) Does clearing your cache from caching plugins, the server, a CDN like Cloudflare, or the browser resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear the cache from a plugin, please contact the plugin author. If you’d like to clear the cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser, use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your help.
After clearing my whole browser cache, the error disappeared.
    Problem solved ??

@josevarghese i’m having the same issue as the previous user but clearing the cache did not help. I’ve also cleared the cloudflare cdn cache with no changes in the error message.

i’m using yoast 19.3 and premium 18.9 on WP 6.0.1.

i get a red box at the top of the screen with “The “yoast-seo” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.”

there are some errors in the console:
