The File Changed Function Broke It

My users got an error dump on the front page of my site when there was a permission problem with the “Changed File” feature. I deactivated the plugin and everything was fine.
Seems like every update introduces as many problems as it fixes.
I’m uninstalling it from all of my sites and will be looking at alternatives.
