I am trying to create a site backup to transfer to a different server, but each time it tells me that the file compression failed while backing up. This message will appear even if I haven’t enabled file compression in the Advanced Settings. It happens if I try to migrate the entire site, just the WordPress files, or just the database. I will also see a message to make sure the disk has enough space to write the backup, and it has more than enough.

    Hello,
Sorry about that, it sounds your server has a limit that your server does not give the user enough permission to create a backup/zip file. would you please send us a debug file via debug tab of our plugin and provide us a temp admin account(send admin account info to support(at)wpvivid.com), we will check what happened there, thank you:)

Thanks for your response! I’m sorry I didn’t see this earlier, but it was a limitation on the server end that was causing the problem. It ultimately did get resolved. Thanks again!

Running into the same thing. @pmluther do you recall what the server limitation was (and how it was resolved)?
