The free version is stellar

I’ve been fiddling with MailChimp for days now. I came across some JQuery and AJAX tutorials to make MailChimp behave in the way they should have designed it. But honestly it’s over my head. I simply don’t have time to figure it out, and even if I do, I wouldn’t have any support should a problem arise.

This plugin is so easy to work with, and as you see in the support forum, help is there should you need it.

Out of the box, MailChimp’s subscription forms are designed to open a new tab when someone incorrectly enters an email address, or just to let them know they’ve successfully subscribed. It’s an unnecessary hassle.

This plugin lets you easily customize responses directly beneath the subscription form. You can change the text and the styling. It sounds like an easy enough thing to address on your own, but trust me, it’s not.

My needs are more than covered by the free version, but it’s awesome knowing I can upgrade to the Pro version when my readership grows and I need more features.
