The golden ball

  • Hi,
    Im sitting trying to read about the “The golden ball” rules:
    “Each player has one golden ball.
    The golden ball is activated after the prediction for the match is locked. Once activated the golden ball cannot be moved anymore.”
    I have 7 soccer matches in round 1 where my users can use the the golden ball once.
    But what do i do for round 2 with the next 7 matches, can i activate the golden ball again for round 2 for all my users or what is the best way of doing this ?

    Plugin only supports one golden ball. So, unfortunately there is no option to activate again for the next set of 7 matches.

    You can try the golden games extension (see first post in the forum). That allows you as an admin to select multiple matches for which users get the multiplier. Only thing is that your users cannot make the decision.

    Hi again,

    Just a quick follow up question, i can understand thats its not possible to have more than one joker/golden ball thru every round of matches…
    but would it be possible in future releases to have an option for the admin to choose a joker/golden ball number he would like his users would start the compatition with and use thru all the matches,
    So a users would start with eg 5 or 10 jokers or something when a new match program is setup and that user could then decide for which matches they would place these 5 or 10 jokers on thru the hole match program ?
    or is this the same issue as the above answer i got from you, then i am sorry to had disturb you again…

    Maybe in a future release, indeed. It has been on my wish list for a long time, but haven’t found the time yet to do it.

    Hi again,

    Thanks for this answer and i can understand that it takes alot of your time answering these questions, trying to update your already very good/nice/usefull plugin.

    But i would be very happy if as you said it would be possible in future releases
    to have the “golden ball/joker” update + the “previous rank value” update aswell
    as we wrote about earlier. that would make your already superb plugin even better in my view.

    And if you need another “espresso” while your woking with these updates i would be happy to buy you one ??

    *The previous rank value is a nice addition that I will consider for the next version.
    Should be fairly easy to implement.

    Would be awesome addition to the plug-in ! For each matchday/round users get 1 golden ball for example
