The Google Ads purchase is not working

Firstly, thank you for the plugin and explanations done in the website!

We received an e-mail some days ago from Google Ads that told us to add the event conversions snippet:

“In order for the conversion tracking to work, you need to add the conversion tracking tag to the site, which consists of a tracking switch at the site level and an event snippet….

<!– Event snippet for purchase conversion page –> <script> gtag(‘event’, ‘conversion’, { ‘send_to’: ‘AW-XXXXXXXXXXX’, ‘value’: 1.0, ‘currency’: ‘USD’, ‘transaction_id’: ” }); </script>”

I was surprised because I know that this event is handled by your plugin, like all other e-commerce events (we have followed your articles). So, I was sure that was something related to how Tag Manager were set up with Google Ads. The team made some changes (we also followed this https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/how-to-setup-google-ads-conversion-tracking-for-woocommerce) but with no result.

Anyway, just to make a test I added this snippet to the thank you page and the purchase on Google Ads were registered just fine.

So, I don’t know; is this maybe something related to your plugin?
