    Hi??
I would like to use your (free version) Blocksy theme, because it has countless options for settings and as I heard it is one of the fastest (loading) WP themes??

But I ran into a small problem so please kindly help me on this occasion as I have not been able to find a solution (any code that would help)

The problem is that I placed the image in the middle of the article via the editor “Classic Editor” plugin-(setting the image in the middle of the article)
But that image is not responsive to the dimensions of mobile phones (see the image https://imgur.com/a/0KzTB50), while everything is fine with the image on desktops and tablets – it is responsive middle image in article.

How can I get the middle of the image inserted in the article (post) to be responsive on a mobile device.?

Please note that I tested the theme Blocksy on localhost as well as previewing the theme on the live server showed the same problem with the non-responsive mobile image in middle article (post)

Thanks in advance for any help

  • Hello @blumen

I’m really sorry, but the classic editor is something that we do not support. Blocksy is made to work with modern editors, such as Gutenberg, Elementor and so on. It does not support the legacy classic editor and you may get discrepancies like these if you use it, because the classic one has a legacy HTML structure which we cannot stylise and control.

The easiest way to fix this would be to switch to one of the modern editors mentioned.

    Hope this clears things up!

    Thanks.

Ok thank you for your very quick reply.
You could consider implementing in this theme (and also in your other wp theme ) that users (article writers) using the “clasisc editor” can have the same (if I may say so) “conditions” as there are when using Gutenberg (editor). I believe that you would get more users of your wp theme
P.s. Personally, I find it a little more difficult to write in the Gutenberg editor

In any case, I wish you all the best in your work ??

    Hello @blumen

I’m really sorry, but we will not be able to support this legacy technology due to many implications with other modern software. Implementing compatibility would break lots of other things and it is simply not feasible to do so.

The classic editor is already in the phasing out period by WordPress, as none of their recent themes support it.

Sorry, but that’s how things go if we would like to move forward. ??

    Thanks.
