The importer has stopped unexpectedly!

    I am importing a fairly large blog – 1700 posts and nearly 15k images! It is taking forever. I’ve been running it on and off for 5 days now.

    I have upgraded the server resources (GoDaddy shared hosting) with little improvement.

    In addition to any general performance suggestions, I am specifically wondering how to change the number of seconds it waits before retrying. If I can cut the amount of time it waits between tries (currently 180 seconds), that alone should speed this up since it is timing out very frequently.
