    Hi @ildomandatore ,

Thanks for reaching out, and we’re sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Sendinblue mailer.

    Unauthorized: Key not found

This error message means that your Sendinblue API key is invalid. In other instances when we’ve seen this, it means you most likely copied only part of your API key like this: https://a.supportally.com/R4kgPT

Please head over to your Sendinblue SMTP & API settings page (https://account.sendinblue.com/advanced/api) and delete your existing API key (https://a.supportally.com/CVgd0M).

Then you can add a new API key, copy the full key (https://a.supportally.com/IyKkFk) and update the WP Mail SMTP > Settings page.

Once you’ve completed those steps, try sending a test email from WP Mail SMTP > Tools.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, could you please let me know?

    Thank you! ??

    Versions:
    WordPress: 6.1.1
    WordPress MS: No
    PHP: 7.4.33
    WP Mail SMTP: 3.7.0

    Params:
    Mailer: sendinblue
    Constants: No
    API Key: Yes

    Debug:
    Email Source: WP Mail SMTP
    Mailer: Sendinblue
    unauthorized: Key not found”

Nothing changed because I followed this procedure. I have wordfence and cloudflare. Could it be some wrong DNS settings?

    Hi @ildomandatore

Thank you for keeping us posted.

Generally speaking, if this was a DNS issue then there would have been a DNS verification error in your Sendinblue account during the DNS verification step.

As a quick test, you can try disabling your other plugins and then sending a test email to see if a different error message appears.

Just to confirm, is your Sendinblue API key as long as the one in this example?

I deactivated all plugins and changed the theme. The problem persists.

The key should be right. I followed the guide.

    Hi @ildomandatore

That certainly is strange, especially if the correct steps were followed.

To confirm if this is a mailer or server issue, please try setting up a different mailer.

The easiest ones to test are the Google or Other SMTP mailers (both are free).

If you run into any specific errors while attempting to set up either or both of those mailers, please let us know.

    Hi @ildomandatore

I assume you are not seeing that option on your end? If not, please note that under that screenshot we have a note that says:

Note:?If you don’t see an option for the Gmail API in the dropdown, be sure that you have the?Gmail API enabled?for your account.”

I just performed a quick test and I’m seeing the section depicted in the screenshot: https://a.supportally.com/i/sdz0Av

If you are seeing something completely different even after performing the steps in the Official Google documentation to enable the Gmail API, please send a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end.

Please also note that we have a video tutorial at the top of our documentation page.

In the guide I found this link. https://help.sendinblue.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004787479-How-to-connect-your-email-account-via-IMAP

is this perhaps the problem? I still can’t follow the guide. I have Bluehost as my hosting, can this help?

    Hi @ildomandatore

The error message you received while using the Sendinblue mailer only referenced the API key being the issue.

To confirm that the From Email isn’t involved, you can use a test From Email that includes your domain like “[email protected]” for example.

I can’t follow the gmail guide from the image shown above. https://postimg.cc/gallery/MGCrWzF

The email to be sent as a test for Sendinblue was the personal email. I put the company email and the one you mentioned but I still have problems.

    Hi @ildomandatore

Thank you for keeping us posted and we apologize for the back and forth, normally this is a lot more straight forward. But we’ll continue trying to point you in the right direction based on the issues you’re experincing.

    1. Are you perhaps able to follow along with the video tutorial instead?

I am aware that you are using a different language, but the buttons, icons and other links are all in the same location based on your screenshot. So you’d only need to follow along with what is being inserted.
    2. Please note that I also mentioned that the Other SMTP?mailer could be tested as well. There are instructions for making a connection via the Google SMTP host server. You would only need to go this route if you continue to run into issues with setting up the Google mailer.

I can’t follow the video for the same reason. https://postimg.cc/gallery/hxrQbmV

I don’t understand why to use Other SMTP and choose one that I don’t have. I use email from Bluehost and even with them I had trouble setting up email for Gmail. In fact, then I gave up. But every day I get Dmarc messages from Google.

    Hi @ildomandatore

    Thanks for keeping me posted.

    1. Please click the “Gestisci” button then you will see the page in the second screenshot.

    2. I had recommended these two mailers only for the sake of testing to see if there is a larger connection issue occurring. If there are no connection issues when using these two mailers it would be best to reach out to Sendinblue support to see if they can look into the incorrect API key issue.

The top right button is now ticked. Ok, I contact Sendinblue is better.
