The last rules update for the Wordfence Web Application Firewall was unsuccessful. The last successful update check was April 7, 2022 8:04 pm, so this site may be missing new rules added since then. You may wait for the next automatic attempt at April 21, 2022 8:05 pm or try to Manually Update by clicking the “Manually Refresh Rules” button below the Rules list.

This is happening on several of my sites.

    Hi @on3rdstreet,

    Thank you for reaching out!

It’s possible that your rules have been updated. To check this, you can look at the timestamp for the /wp-content/wflogs/rules.php file.

If the timestamp on that file isn’t current, you can try deleting wp-content/wflogs/rules.php and letting Wordfence rebuild the file.

Let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks,
    Tiffany

I thought so as well but the timestamp is from 4/6/2022.

    Hi on3rdstreet,

    Thanks for checking the timestamp.

Since it isn’t current, have you tried deleting wp-content/wflogs/rules.php and letting Wordfence rebuild the file?

If that doesn’t work, check and confirm that the /wflogs directory is owned by the same user as the web server.

Let me know if that works.

    Thanks,
    Tiffany
