the library media not showing

when I activate the cname the picture view disappear from the library. only when i turn off the cname it come back. so far everything is working all until i turn
Custom Domain (CNAME) and t he pictures disappear.

Use the Same CloudFront Custom Domain with WP Offload Media and the Assets Pull Addon. but on the step number 3 (Create a cache behaviour for the S3 origin) I can’t set the organ to S3 origin as the tutorial is referring to.
When I create a new cash beahvoior I add the path pattern (wp-content/uploads/*) but the next box the origin is set for me “custom-domain.com” no any options for me to change it to S-3 Cdn.domain.com as the tutorial says.
How can I fix it ?
Is this the cause why my pictures are not showing when I turn the custom domain cname on
Keep in mind I have cname on cloud flare point at CloudFront domain and its working fine.
yes pictures is showing on the front end site, So what I am doing wrong that make the library media not showing

Update: the old disappeared not sure why, now it’s a different one.
I deleted the whole distribution and created brand new one.

To use the custome domain with assets and media.
However media Nicky worked with cdn.mydomain.com. But with the assets I am getting this error
Invalid response type. Received [xxxxxxxxxxx].This will happen for any request that does not return JSON as expected by the test endpoint, which is likely caused by a misconfigured domain or origin.
Not sure why, same old setup.
I created an extra cname with cloud flare assets.mydomain.com and I addded into the cloud front distribution aside with cdn.mysomain.com
Still the assets shows an errorThank you
