“The link you followed has expired” when accessing the settings

  • Hello, I just installed Limit Login Attempts Reloaded and cannot access the settings page as I get the following error:

    The link you followed has expired.

    This issue has already been reported but remains unresolved: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/the-link-you-followed-has-expired-when-trying-to-access-the-plugin-settings/

    I use WordPress 5.8.3 and all my plugins are up-to-date.

    Remove plugin from wp-content/plugin directory and reinstall it

    The latest version doesnt work well, i’d suggest you get one of the previous versions from the plugin homepage and upload it to your website

    I did what you say and installed different versions but I still have the issue.
