the location of the translation files in the folder

  • I exported the faq-wd-cs_CZ.po file from the plugin to the Uploads folder on FTP. I translated a copy of faq-wd-cs_CZ.po into Czech language, but the original faq-wd-cs_CZ.po file on FTP cannot be overwritten or deleted by FTP. Can I upload the translated file faq-wd-cs_CZ.po directly to a plugin folder?

    Hi @cathylesliebell,

    Thanks for your inquiry and I am very sorry to get back to you this late.

    Please enter wp-uploads > plugins > copy the plugin folder, paste it somewhere, like for example Desctop, then open language file select faq-wd-cs_CZ.po and faq-wd-cs_CZ.mo files and delete, after this copy the edited version and paste in the language folder, it’ll automatically generate .mo file too. After this replace the plugin folder in FTP.
