    Hello,

    I have Error Log Monitor installed and it appears to be working correctly, however I am getting a message saying “The log file is empty.” on the dashboard.

    This seems a little odd to me as I would have expected some errors!

    Do you know how I can test if it is actually working please?

    One thing you could try is to add some lines of text to your log file. Then check if they show up in the dashboard widget.

    Testing the actual error logging is more complicated: you need a way to trigger a PHP error. I haven’t seen any plugins that let you do that, but if you have some development skills, maybe you could write a simple plugin that calls the trigger_error() function.
