    I want to remove the ‘li’-tags in the categories-tag in my blog…:s

    wp-includes/template-functions-category.php is the file while creates the categories for you, so you might want to look at the function the_category(…); in there.

    But remember that you’ll have to re-edit that file every time you upgrade. Really you are better off learning CSS and dealing with the bullets that way.
