The Masterplan

    I have been trying to install a theme called Masterplan: https://themasterplan.in/tma/documentation

    I have uploaded it to my server and then u are supposed to just activate it in wordpress:

    “Next, go to the Presentation area in your WordPress administration panel and activate the theme.”

    what does it mean? anybody has an idea? i cant find anything called activate theme…

  • In the WordPress back-end go to Appearance, Themes. This is where you will activate the new theme.

    Hi! thanks for your reply! but i still don′t seem to get it: when i click on themes there are just 2 themes available and nowhere where i can “activate”
    shall i go to edit? i tried it but didnt fint anything there either…
    sorry, i am really new at these things, i just downloaded wordpress today…

    i upgraded to the latest wordpress now, lets see what happens..:-)

    You need to actually load the new theme before you can activate it. To do this you must go to Appearance, Add New Theme, and then you click on the upload link. From here you need to upload the .zip file containing the new theme you downloaded. When this is done the new theme will appear on the page I pointed you to previously and you will be able to activate it.

    I am sure WordPress is going to be really good once I understand how to use it:-)
