The most unfriendly plugin ever!

First I have to get Youtube API..
Then I can’t just add video by using shortcode.. but must search ID
and can’t..
“An error occured while trying to query YouTube API.
Error: No query specified. (code: yt_api_query_empty)”

Why?
And my “theme isn’t compatible”.. grat!:)
