After upgrading from 2.2.13 to 2.3.2 I get following message:
The My Calendar database needs to be updated. If “üpdate now” is pressed, then it say “My Calendar Database is updated” but the firts message return every time again. Do I have to set permissions for database handling or other permisssions?

That sounds like the update routine isn’t happening. Are you seeing any errors?

Are you able to add events? Locations? Categories?

    Hi Joe,

    I don’t see any errors.
I am also not able to add events, locations and categories.
If I try to add one of these, I get a message that it failed.

Definitely a sign that the database upgrade didn’t occur correctly. The fact that the manual database updating isn’t working is problematic, though.

Can you submit a support request at My Calendar > Help? I’m going to ask for access to your site, to try and resolve this, and I won’t do that over a public forum.

    Hi Joe,
Due to privacy issues I am not able to give access to the website.
I will try to solve this by myself. I found in the meantime an issue with the alter command. “WordPress database error ALTER command denied to user”
    Thnaks for your support.

That’s fine. The error you’re getting likely means that your WordPress MySQL user has insufficient permissions, and can’t update your database structure.

Updated MySQL user with ALTER permissions has solved this issue.
    All works fine now.
