If you’re encountering a “necessary verification token could not be found” error can you attempt Site Kit set up once more, this time from a Chrome browser incognito window while also temporarily disabling any caching or optimizations plugins which you may have active? Such plugins can impact Site Kit set up. We have more information on this on the plugin website.

If the same occurs, please?share your Site Health information?and we can investigate this further.

Note also that a workaround for this error, which you may wish to perform, is to manually add and?verify your site manually with Search Console. This removes the need for Site Kit to verify your site ownership with Search Console.
