the new version is useless

With the new version my old maintenance mode announcement was gone, had to create a template for a simple function that was easily to activate with just a mouse click before.
But it is complete garbage since it doesn’t even work! Maintenance mode is activated but customers still manage to place orders and also complain about seeing a reCaptcha on the homepage instead of the maintenance announcement (which I see).
So bad! It was a great plugin but someone needed to make it “better”. Stupid nonsense.
