Around a week ago, I had a hissy fit with Yoast’s new ‘keyword phrase’ option, preferring instead to use keyWORDS, with the result of me dumping Yoast and going with another SEO plugin.

Couldn’t get on with it though, so I sloped back.

Anyway, to the point of the thread title –

On uploading my sitemaps, I found that ALL my images had been indexed again, up from the ONE image that was being indexed previously, to a whopping 225 indexed images!

The problem then is not with Google being a pain in the arse – I reckon that swapping over to another SEO plugin, and giving Yoast a break – also gave it a kick up the arse and forced Yoast to index the images again.

Which poses the following question – the problem is obviously Yoast’s own problem, and not Googles.

If my images start to be de-indexed again (which I’m sure they will after a few weeks) can Yoast implement some sort of cache system, or a way to smack it around the head so that images submitted by Yoast stay indexed permanently?

Firstly – I have no intention of opening a github account.

Secondly – This support forum is supposed to be for describing and receiving solutions to problems with plugins, NOT github.

I’ve already pointed out that there is a problem with Yoast, and a solution to that problem would be much appreciated in this support thread – NOT in github.
