The old "Site not getting indexed" issue

  • Hello,

    I am new to WordPress, however, not so new to SEO, etc, only I come from more of a shopping cart background.

    – I have created my site,
    – added it to webmaster tools
    – created sitemap

    My sitemap submits 16 pages and it shows that google have indexed 7 pages. That’s great.

    However, when I look under the index status it says that there are no pages indexed. It really doesn’t appear anywhere on google.

    I am used to much faster results and I am wondering if there is something I am missing – code in my template, etc that I am not used to dealing with. My gut tells me that something is amiss.

    If someone could take a look I would be grateful.

  • Dear monstermovielist,

    I see a good number of indexed pages for your domain on Google. If you go to Google and type the following in the search box:

    site:monstermovielist.com.au and type / click enter you will find all the pages that are indexed.

    You can also check the search results on Google here.
